As the Association of Black Women Attorneys embarks upon its 33rd year, we know now more than ever that our organization offers unique opportunities for African-American women to showcase their legal skills, share their talents and serve the community. More than ever, we are being sought by others for our viewpoints, input and abilities. The City of New York, the New York State Bar Association and other organizations have called upon our unique experience as African-American women, highly skilled attorneys and concerned citizens. In this time, there are many, many opportunities to get involved in our organization.

We also find that ABWA provides a vital line of communication connecting an extremely diverse body of professionals in a time when networking and word of mouth can make the difference between employment and unemployment.

We hope to inspire you to continue your support of our organization or to join our membership for the first time. We have a desire to work with each of you to make an impact in our profession and in our communities.

We Offer:
• Opportunities to Develop Transferrable Talents and Skills while Making a Difference!
• Occasions to Network with Accomplished African-American Women Attorneys (Including Jurists!)
• Inspired and Visionary Opportunities for Leadership!
